Terms of Service

Effective 6 September 2026

1. Purpose

These terms set out the conditions for using the online ERD editor provided by YourERD ("the Service"), together with the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Service and its users.

2. Definitions

• Service — the ERD authoring, storage, sharing and export features YourERD provides over the web.
• User — anyone who uses the Service under these terms.
• Member — a user who has created an account and uses the Service while signed in.
• Diagram — the ERD data a user creates with the Service.
• Share link — a URL a member issues so that others may view one of their diagrams.

3. Changes to these terms

• These terms take effect once posted on the Service.
• We may revise them when necessary and will post the revision on this page.
• Continuing to use the Service after a revision is posted constitutes acceptance of it.

4. The Service

• The Service provides: ERD authoring and editing; MySQL DDL, PNG and JSON export; storage and management of members' diagrams; view access through share links; and integration with external tools over MCP.
• The Service is provided free of charge. Part of the running cost is covered by advertising displayed on its pages.
• Drawing and file export work without signing in. Server-side storage, sharing and external tool integration are available to members only.
• We may change or discontinue features, and will make reasonable efforts to give notice of significant changes.

5. Accounts

• Registration asks only for a username and a password. The Service does not request your real name, email address or other identity information.
• You are responsible for looking after your credentials. Because the Service holds no email address or other recovery channel, we cannot reset a forgotten password. Please store your password somewhere safe.
• Accounts may not be transferred or lent to anyone else.
• To delete an account, contact us at the address in the Privacy Policy. Deletion also removes that account's diagrams, tokens and share links.

6. What you create

• You own the diagrams you create. The Service claims no rights over them.
• We process diagram data only as far as is needed to store, display and share it for you.
• We do not use your diagrams for advertising, promotion, model training or any other purpose.
• You must not put content into a diagram that infringes anyone's rights or breaks the law.

7. Notice about data retention

We make reasonable efforts to keep your data safe, but we do not guarantee backups or loss-free storage. Faults, errors or operational circumstances may result in stored data being lost. Please export important work as a JSON file and keep your own copy.

8. Share links

• Anyone holding a share link can view the diagram it points to.
• Looking after the link is the issuing member's responsibility; we are not liable for the consequences of a leaked link.
• Links can be revoked at any time, after which they no longer grant access.

9. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Interfere with normal operation of the Service, for example through excessive automated requests or deliberate load.
• Use someone else's account, share link or MCP token without permission.
• Exploit vulnerabilities or attempt unauthorised access.
• Store or share content that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others.
• Reverse engineer the Service or copy and redistribute it without permission.

10. Restrictions on use

If you breach section 9, we may restrict your use of the Service or delete your account without prior notice.

11. Interruptions

The Service may be suspended temporarily for maintenance, replacement of equipment, faults, loss of connectivity or events beyond our control. Should the Service be shut down permanently, we will make reasonable efforts to give notice in advance.

12. Disclaimer

• The Service is free and provided "as is", without warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.
• We do not warrant that generated DDL or other output is correct, or that it will behave as expected against a real database. Review output before you use it.
• We are not liable for loss caused by events beyond our control or by your own actions.
• We are not liable for loss arising from information you obtain through the Service.

13. Advertising

We may display advertising to cover the cost of running the Service. Ad content is determined by third-party advertising vendors, and we do not endorse advertised products or services. Cookie use related to advertising is described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes arising from use of the Service shall be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

These terms take effect on 6 September 2026.
